1) Commence working with an empty closet. That is, your closet space should be totally empty devoid of anything except the standard shelves, drawers, horizontal hanging bars, and other closet components that may be inside. The underlying principle here is that it is almost always easy to start working from scratch rather than trying to work yourself out from something that really needs a whole lot of improvement.
2) The emptied clothes, garments, accessories, shoes, and other closet stuff should be grouped together in categories. Faded tees and other old casual wears should be grouped together and discarded accordingly. I bet that those old clothes haven’t been worn by you for months so they have to go. You can donate them to charities.
3) Identify the clothes and other stuff that you will be wearing or needing on a per season basis. For example, you might want to group your light clothing that you would most likely wear during summer. The idea here is to not mix winter and summer clothes together. This would result in an orderly array of clothing and garments inside the closet. You will find that it would be much quicker and convenient to locate something when grouped in categories.
4) With regards to hanging those suits, blouses, or sleeves, make sure that they are facing in the same direction. This will help optimize the hanging space and will create an orderly array of hanged clothes as well. It would be so much easier and more convenient when you choose something to wear.
